Learn with groups based at the art centre
Wanganui Comunity Education Service (CES) has been running classes for adults for over 20 years. They teach everything from art and craft, to languages and astronomy. We are delighted that their office is now located on the art centre site and several of their classes are being run from our river room.
The Potters Society has been situated at the community arts cenre since its very beginning. They have a dedicated clay room, a kiln and access to materials and expertise for everyone who joins. They group often have exhibitions in the centre and throughout New Zealand.
Seniornet is a New Zealand wide organsation that provides support, computer access and tutorials for those over 55. The room at CES is always busy with friendly people eager to help you work out your computer problems or needs.
